Homebound Services

BOOK DELIVERY FOR HOMEBOUND RESIDENTS

If you can’t get to the library, let the library come to you! East Providence Public Library offers homebound services to East Providence residents who are homebound and are without local support (friends, family, paid caretaker) to run errands for them. This service may be permanent or temporary due to injury or illness.

A library staff member will deliver library materials (including books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, etc.) to you up to twice per month.

Please call 401-433-4877 and leave a message with your phone number. Within a few days, we will contact you to determine if you qualify for this service and assess your material preferences. Shortly thereafter, you will receive a call from a staff member who will gather your materials and set up a time for your first delivery. This service is free, but you are responsible for the cost of replacing lost or damaged items.
